<p align="center" style="margin-top:4.3pt;text-align:center"><span style="font-family:Calibri;color:black">The Interdisciplinary Center for Bioethics hosts an intensive Summer Institute in Bioethics for U.S. and international participants.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

The “Foundations” component will run from June 1<sup>st</sup> - 9<sup>th</sup> and consists of an introduction to ethical theory along with a review of bioethical principles, theories, terms, and history, and concluding with a site visit to The Hastings Center
in NY. The remainder of the program will cover ethical issues pertaining to a broad range of topics including medicine, law, religion, public health, animal ethics, and the environment. There are lectures in the morning, followed by small-group mini-courses
in the afternoons.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
