<p class="x_x_x_MsoNormal" align="center" style="text-align:left"><b>Nominations:</b> The History section is soliciting nominations for the Undergraduate Writing Prizes honoring excellence in historical research and writing.</p>

<p class="x_x_x_MsoNormal">The prizes honor MIT Historians John Dower, Pauline Maier, and Bruce Mazlish.</p>
<p class="x_x_x_MsoNormal"><b>Nominee Eligibility:<span> </span></b>MIT<b> </b>Undergraduate Students and non-MIT students who have taken a 21H subject in 2014-2015 taught by an MIT History Faculty member.</p>

<p class="x_x_x_MsoNormal"><b>Requirements and guidelines:<span> </span></b>Papers must have been written for a 21H subject taught by an MIT History Faculty member in 2014-2015.</p>

<p class="x_x_x_MsoNormal">Papers written for non-21H subjects are not eligible, unless the instructor has a joint appointment with the MIT History Faculty.</p>

<p class="x_x_x_MsoNormal">Length must be a minimum of ten pages, double-spaced.</p>

<p class="x_x_x_MsoNormal">Papers should contain essay title only- leave out your name, subject number, and subject title.</p>
