business then this course is for you. Taught by four industry experts, the class will provide you with a strong foundation in all aspects of the med-device/biotech world including design, IP, regulatory basics, reimbursement, marketing and overall business

This course presents a systematic approach to developing a biomedical product and launching a startup company to successfully commercialize that product. Course faculty and outside experts discuss assigned readings and lecture on a range of relevant topics.
Students work in project teams dedicated to finding a commercial solution to an important clinical need. Students interact with clinicians, potential customers, other stakeholders, potential competitors and expert consultants. Students present their analyses
and solutions regarding each of the critical issues their business would face in addressing the identified clinical need. Enrollment limited.</div>
