Caspar Hare, who will discuss a fundamental question in bioethics:
what areas of research should get priority? For example, Lou
Gherig's disease is a rare but serious disease, whereas Athlete's foot
is a much more common and much less serious infection. At first
glance, the two aren't even comparable, but using the context of these
two conditions, Professor Hare will discuss what factors influence how
the allocation of resources should be distributed when it comes to
biological research. </font><br>
