Africa this summer to teach entrepreneurship and mobile technologies.
AITI gives MIT students the opportunity to foster innovation, learn
and teach mobile technologies, grasp the African market, make
contacts, help start businesses, and travel. All housing and travel
expenses are covered, and a generous stipend is
provided.</font></blockquote>

<blockquote type="cite" cite><font size="-1">AITI organizes mobile
technology incubator courses at elite African universities with the
help of major players such as Google, Nokia, African governments, and
African businesses. Our goal is to promote development by
imparting the skills necessary to innovate and create sustainable
businesses to our African students.</font></blockquote>

<blockquote type="cite" cite><font size="-1">Since 2000, AITI has sent
nearly 100 MIT students to teach over 1200 African students.
AITI has big plans for this summer, with programs in Kenya, Rwanda,
and South Africa. Each program lasts approximately seven weeks during
June through August. Instructor positions are open to MIT
undergraduate and graduate students.</font></blockquote>
