Courses filling in Round II will only have waitlist bidding during
the waitlist-only round. You are unable to bid for open classes (i.e.,
classes that did not fill during Rounds I and II) during this round.
Open courses may be added on Registration Day by writing it onto
your registration form.

A list of closed classes is posted on the Sloanbid website under
'Course Information Resources'.

** All students will receive an additional 1000 points in the
waitlist round exclusively for Waitlist-only bidding.

The bid point range during the Waitlist Round is 1-1000 points
(Note this difference between Rounds I and II and Waitlist Round).

Non-credit class 15.443 and 15.549 will only be available for
bidding during the waitlist-only round.

Waitlists are bid upon competitively, using the same criteria as
bidding: levels of prioritization and points bid.

There is no guarantee that seats will become available or that
an instructor will choose to use a waitlist.

Swaps

Use this site if you have successfully gained a seat in a
sectioned Sloan class during bidding but would now like to switch
sections.

If you are on a waitlist you do not actually have a seat, so you
cannot yet request a swap.

The system will check every hour for a match to your swap.

You will be notified via email at the conclusion of the round if a
swap is conducted. No further paperwork is necessary.

If your request is not accommodated by the conclusion of the
round, you must speak directly to the faculty member when classes
begin in February.
