size="+1">Attached, please find information about the 2010 Summer
Student Research Program at the Maine Medical Center Research
Institute (MMCRI). MMCRI is the research arm of the Maine
Medical Center, and is located in Scarborough, a suburb of Portland,
Maine. The research at MMCRI covers a broad area in biomedical science
including vascular biology, stem cell biology, developmental biology,
neurobiology, hematology, nephrology, skeletal biology, cancer biology
and molecular genetics. We offer the opportunity for highly motivated
undergraduate college students, and students who are currently a
senior in high school and expect to enroll in college in the fall of
2010, to participate in a paid 10-week summer internship.
Students participate in mentored, independent research projects, using
modern techniques in molecular biology and
biochemistry.</font></blockquote>
