Bortoni</b> - Dr. Bortoni earned his Masters and PhD in Electrical
Engineering from UFSC in 2005. He currently works as an Applications
Engineer and Audio Circuits Designer at THAT corporation. Dr. Bortoni
will talk with us about his interests in music and how that has shaped
his life and career. Growing up in a very musical environment, Dr.
Bortoni has developed a passion for music and playing the
guitar.</font></blockquote>

<blockquote type="cite" cite><font face="Helvetica"><b>Mr. Jack
Milwid</b> - Jack Milwid earned a BS in Materials Engineering from the
Colorado School of Mines and a SM in Materials Science and Engineering
at MIT. He is currently earning his PhD in Medical Engineering and
Medical Physics (MEMP) from the Harvard-MIT Division of Health
Sciences and Technology (HST). Outside of Martin Yarmush's lab, Jack's
hobby is road bikes. Jack will tell us about his experiences
assembling and collecting road bikes.</font></blockquote>
