openings in the systems neuroscience laboratory, course 9.02.
This course will give students hands-on experience with
basic systems neuroscience techniques. Topics of study
include, basic electrophysiological recording in a variety of species
(insects, frog and rat), introduction to MR for anatomy,
neurohistology, matlab and using it to design, perform, collect data
and analyze data from student made vision experiments and human
eeg. This course has three basic weekly components: Monday
lecture (4-5pm), Tuesday recitation (7-8pm) and Wednesday wet lab
session with quiz (1-5pm). The goal is for students to
be proficient in these techniques so that they are able to
perform them successfully in future settings (UROPs, graduate
school,etc.).</font></blockquote>
