<blockquote type="cite" cite>Brief Course Description:</blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite>Entrepreneurship involves the conception,
design, launch and development of a new enterprise. Intended for
students who want to start their own business, further develop an
existing business, be a member of a management team in a new
enterprise, or better understand the entrepreneur and the
entrepreneurial process, this course covers a broad range of topics
such as opportunity assessment, the value proposition, the
entrepreneur, legal issues, entrepreneurial ethics, the business plan,
the founding team, seeking customers and raising funds. In
addition to lectures and case examples from current startups, you will
"learn by doing" through writing a full business plan as
part of a team, and presenting to invited venture capitalists. The
course uses case examples from the Life Sciences as well as
Cleantech/Energy and IT sectors.</blockquote>
