<blockquote type="cite" cite>The spring X PRIZE course is still
looking for students!<br>
</blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite>The course involves working in teams to
create an X-prize to spur advancements in bionics. Your concept could
be adopted by the X-Prize Foundation to launch a new X-prize
competition! Guest speakers include Dean Kamen and Ray
Kurzweil.<br>
</blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite>The course will be highly
action-oriented, with a mixture of lectures, interactive
activities, and panel discussions with industry leaders. As
a term project, interdisciplinary teams of 3-5 students will work
to explore the Grand Challenge theme of Bionics and to develop a
fully-formed prize concept to present to members of the X PRIZE
Board.<br>
</blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite>Backgrounds in engineering, science,
business and medicine all welcomed. No background in bionics
required.<br>
