<div>The Biology Undergraduate Committee is soliciting nominations
from faculty for students to speak at the Biology Undergraduate
Research Symposium on Thursday, January 29, 2009 from 1-5pm. The
Symposium is as means to honor top students for outstanding research
effort. The committee will select students to submit an abstract
and present a talk on their research.</div>

<div>If you would like to speak at the Symposium, please contact your
faculty supervisor and mentor. Any student who is doing a
UROP in the department, participating in a project lab, or taking 7.18
is eligible to be nominated. Letters from your faculty
supervisor and mentor should be sent to me by<b> Friday, November
21st</b>.</div>
