Job Summary:</b></font><br>
Buckingham Browne & Nichols is seeking a full time, Upper School
Chemistry and Biology teacher (regular or Advanced Placement).
Primary responsibilities include teaching one section of A.P.
Biology, one section of Experimental Biology (an A.P. lab course) and
two sections of either Chemistry or Biology. Additional
responsibilities include attending weekly Science Department meetings
and contributing to Science Department initiatives as needed/requested
by the Department Head and the Upper School Director. <font
face="Arial"><b><br>
Context:</b></font>BB&N, a coeducational day school in Cambridge,
MA, was established in 1974 by the merger of two independent schools,
the Buckingham School and the Browne & Nichols School, founded
respectively in 1889 and 1883. Located on three separate

Skills and Competencies:</b></font></font></blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite><font face="Times New Roman"
color="#000000">The ideal candidate should have three to five years of
science teaching experience at the secondary school level or
significant non-teaching experience in a science related field.
Proficiency for teaching both Chemistry and Advanced Placement
Biology are strongly desired. Bachelor degree required, masters
preferred. The candidate should possess a passion to inspire and
to engage students in appreciating the complexity and simplicity of
science as it relates to their every day lives. In addition, the
candidate will demonstrate the following:<br>
