As you may know, Family Weekend is kicking off this Friday. In honor of the occasion, the Biology Department will be hosting a reception for you and your family members to learn more about course 7. <BR>
<BR>
Details:<BR>
* Reception on Friday, 3:30-5pm, 68-181<BR>
* Faculty members will speak from 3:30-4:15pm, followed by Q&A<BR>
* Biology Undergraduate Student Association (BUSA) will provide info on upcoming activities<BR>
* Guided tours of the Biology facilities and selected labs by undergrads and grads, starting around 4:30pm <BR>
* Biology t-shirts for sale - $10<BR>
* Plenty of delicious refreshments<BR>
<BR>
If your family will be able to make it this weekend, please bring them to the reception for talk, tours, and goodies. If they will <I>not</I> be attending, you are still invited! Upperclassmen are a valuable resource for parents and new majors. New majors who were unable to attend the class dinners in September will find the presentation informative, too.<BR>
<BR>
In addition to the reception, Biology will be hosting open courses for 7.012, Intro Biology (10-250, 10-11am) and 7.03, Genetics (54-100, 11am-12pm), which family members are invited to attend.<BR>
