size="+1">Over 250 MIT student and staff volunteers run the Expo
annually, providing constructive feedback to the students' projects,
giving science demonstrations, and taking students on guided tours of
MIT's laboratories.</font></blockquote>

color="#953B96"><b>What is Expo?</b></font></blockquote>

size="+1">Each year, this event brings about 350 seventh and eighth
grade students from 14 local public schools to MIT's campus. The
day-long program allows students to showcase their science projects
and, more importantly fosters their interest in science at that
formative age and enrich their science experience outside of the
classroom.</font></blockquote>
