is sponsoring an exhibition of student "self portrayals" from
December 6th through December 19</font><font size="-1">th</font> 2006
at the MIT Wiesner Student Art Gallery on the second floor of the
Stratton Student Center. The work is based on<font
color="#000080"> homework and</font> final projects from the MIT
undergraduate seminar<b> SP.240 Composing Your Life: Exploration of
Self through Photography, Art, and Writing</b>. The seminar is taught
by ESG staff members Graham Ramsay and Dr. Holly Sweet and has been
funded in large part by contributions from ESG alumni. </blockquote>
<blockquote><font face="Times New Roman"> </font></blockquote>
<blockquote><font face="Times New Roman">Works of mixed media will
explore issues of self-perception, alternative views of self, impact
of gender on identity, values and meaning, and self in the future.
Exhibitors will include MIT undergraduates Jacqueline Beer
'07, Jacqueline Chang '10, Amanda Hunter '07, HeeJay Kang
'07, William Kyei-Manu '10, and Maitagorri Schade
'10.</font></blockquote>

<blockquote><font face="Times New Roman"> </font>A reception will
be held on Friday December 8<font size="-1">th</font> from 4:00-6:00
p.m. at the Wiesner Student Art Gallery. At 5 p.m. students will
present short talks about their works, followed by discussion with the
audience. The exhibit is free and open to the public. For
