As you may already know, tomorrow
(Friday, October 13) the Truman Scholarship Foundation will be
honoring MIT as a Truman Honor Institution for our dedication to the
values of the Truman Foundation. On the bottom floor of Stata,
we will have a poster session by students who have dedicated
themselves to the betterment of others, starting at 3pm. They
will be available to discuss their various public service
activities. Also on hand will be the Director of the Truman
Foundation, Frederick Slabach, who is willing to speak with students
interested in applying for the Truman Scholarship. The award
ceremony will begin at 4:30 and last half an hour. There will be
refreshments. Below, I have attached the link to a website with
all the details.
