Boston Intercollegiate Community Service Organization was founded on
the principle of serving others as a vehicle for personal growth. Its
only membership requirement is, and always will be, that one should be
willing to give. BICSO strives to create a unified, powerful and
enthusiastic student service force to affect positive change in the
city of Boston. We focus on service directly related to health and
education because both are the building blocks of a successful
society.</font></blockquote>

MIT chapter of BICSO seeks to provide opportunities for students to
contribute to their community through fund raising for health and
medical research organizations, making blankets for Project Linus, and
collaborating with other Boston and Cambridge area schools. As a
service organization, we strive to create opportunities for everyone
to contribute at a level that is appropriate for their schedule.
Whether you have two hours a week or two hours a month to contribute,
we welcome your involvement.</font></blockquote>
