<font size="-1">We are pleased to announce the launch of the Novartis
Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBRI) Summer Scientific Intern
Program. The goal of the program is to provide eligible science
undergraduate students with an experiential introduction to, or
continuation of, scientific research. During a paid eleven-week summer
program, students from local institutions will have the opportunity to
participate in a research project with guidance from a NIBRI Mentor at
our campus in Cambridge, MA. The summer program will start June 7,
2005 and end August 19, 2005. </font><br>

<font size="-1">Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents
(Green Card holders), and must be at least a rising junior (Chemistry)
or rising senior (Biology), and enrolled in a degree program leading
to a BA/BS in a scientific discipline. Seniors who will graduate
in May/June of 2005 are eligible to apply. NIBRI is an
