assist in the development of biochemical assays for drug screening.
This research will be directed towards understanding the mechanisms
regulating cell proliferation and differentiation and identifying new
drugs that can modulate these processes. The position offers a unique

<b>Requirements:<br>
<br>
</b>* B.Sc. in Biology with laboratory experience.<br>
<br>
* Individuals should have a strong background in biochemistry with
experience in protein chemistry, enzymology and protein purification
using FPLC.<br>
<br>
* Expertise using bacterial and baculovirus expression systems.<br>
<br>
* Experience in mammalian cell culture. <br>
<br>
* Proficiency in the use of current molecular biology techniques and
cloning strategies, site-directed mutagenesis, construction and use of
reporter systems and expression vectors is preferred.<br>
<br>
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
The candidate will also be expected to participate in experimental
design, to independently conduct experiments and to handle multiple
tasks effectively.<br>
