<blockquote type="cite" cite>Those who are preparing a fellowship
application, here are some tips:</blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite><br>
- Do a draft of your proposal as early as possible.<br>
<br>
-Working on a number of drafts and seeking advice does result in a
more polished proposal.<br>
<br>
- Consult advisors and trusted peers at various stages in the
process.<br>
</blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite>- Give as much advance notification to
your recommenders as possible, with sufficiently clear instructions as
to deadline and destination.</blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite><br></blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite>** Even if you have applied for any of
the above/other fellowships in the past and have failed to win one,
you have a chance of winning on the second try.</blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite><br></blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite>Good Luck.</blockquote>
