<div class=""><b class="">Abstract:</b> A lingering question with regards to the asteroids and comets in our solar system is when the next impact might occur on Earth, and with what severity. The Near-Earth Object Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer (NEOWISE)
mission has been observing the small bodies in the inner part of our solar system since late 2009. The infrared observations from this Earth-orbiting telescope are being used to discover new objects and to characterize the sizes, albedos, and thermal inertias
of the population in an effort to provide a chance to mitigate any potential impactors that might be identified. In the process of collecting these data, a wide range of topics in solar system science can be addressed.</div>
