Leadership training, issue briefings and additional programming with statewide government and civic leaders are conducted through an Asian American community lens and serve to strengthen the internship experience.</font></span></div><div style="color:rgb(80,0,80)"><span style="font-size:12.8px"><br></span></div></span><div><span style="font-size:12.8px">In addition, all fellows will receive a $500 stipend. Asian American women with a strong interest in the intersection of policy and community issues, and who possess strong written and oral communication skills are encouraged to apply. It is not necessary to have had direct experiences or extensive knowledge in the field of politics to apply - the goal is to cultivate and mentor the next generation of political leaders and advocates in the Asian American community!
